Who We Are
Το 4ο ΓEΛ Αλίμου- Μακρυγιάννειο είναι Δημόσιο Λύκειο που βρίσκεται στον Άλιμο, προάστιο της Νότιας Αθήνας, κοντά στη θάλασσα, στον κόλπο του Σαρωνικού. Στο σχολείου φοιτούν περίπου 370 μαθητές (ηλικίας 15-18 ετών) και διδάσκουν 40 εκπαιδευτικοί. Σύμφωνα με τα ελληνικά πρότυπα πρόκειται για ένα μεγάλο σχολείο δευτεροβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης. Ο Άλιμος είναι μια έντονα κατοικημένη αστική περιοχή που αριθμεί περίπου 100.000 κατοίκους και θεωρείται ένα από τα πιο όμορφα προάστια της Αθήνας.

Happy Child Happy School (Children's Utopia)
Education and happiness are two basic concepts closely related to each other. These two concepts can sometimes be the cause of each other and sometimes the result of each other. In some cases, it has been stated that both concepts are the purpose of each other. In some cultural structures, happiness and education are even used interchangeably. While some scientific circles see education as the purpose of happiness, some circles consider the main purpose of education for happiness. Happiness is a fundamental purpose of education; It can be considered a cornerstone against which we can measure everything done in the name of education (Noddings, 2006, 11). In this context, happiness is seen as a criterion when considering education.

Nutrition is a fundamental physiological requirement for humans. A well-balanced and adequate diet is essential for maintaining good health. The food we consume has a significant impact on both our physical and mental well-being. Scientific research underscores the crucial role of healthy nutrition in promoting mental health.
Problem-solving is a huge part of any organization and integral to the success or failure of its endeavors.
If we can solve our individual problems, our well-being skills are strong.
What method do our students use to solve the problems they encounter at school? Success in solving problems affects well-being. With this activity, we aimed to develop students' skills in solving the problems they encounter at school.
"In 'Keep it Clean, Keep it Green,' we embark on a global mission to nurture a sustainable future for our planet. Our project is an exciting journey through the realms of environmental stewardship, where students from various corners of the world collaborate to promote a greener and cleaner Earth".
